Connections in the Profiles App provides a sortable table that displays those entities that the profiled entity has IP relationships with. Above the table is an indication of the total number of entities as well as controls to index through the list.  The names of the entities are listed along with relevant IP data in columns including:

• Agreements, with the profiled entity as a licensor or a licensee
• M&A Deals, with the profiled entity as a target or as an acquiror
• Patent Assignments, with the profiled entity as an assignee or assignor
• Patent Court Cases, with the profiled entity as a plaintiff or defendant
• Trademark assignments, with the profiled entity as an assignee or assignor
• News articles

Each of the columns is sortable in either ascending or descending numerical order by clicking on the column header.  The entities column is also sortable alphabetically either ascending or descending by clicking on the column header.

The selection of an entity will display the number of entries for each IP data set.  At the top, the selected entity is shown with a hyperlink to that entity’s profile. Each category can be expanded to show all of the respective entries, with each entry selectable to show more detail.  These results can be saved and an alert can be created
