The Agreement Type filter allows a user to search for license agreements by specific agreement type. Multiple types can be selected at same time.
Asset Purchase
Agreements involving a sale or purchase of an asset with some form of variable payment being paid in return. The agreement will cover specific assets or the entire assets of the seller. Examples include selling ownership of intellectual property by one company to another.
Cross License
Agreements involving the licensing of intangible property between parties in order to sell an existing product.
Distribution
Agreements involving the distribution of physical items. This includes supply chain and warehousing. Examples include agreements to store physical products.
Franchise
Agreements involving the licensing to operate a franchise or master franchise. Examples includes business plans, sources, contacts, prices. Also can include business operations and advertising.
Joint Development
Agreements involving the licensing of tangible and intangible property between parties in order to develop a product.
Manufacturing/Process Intangibles
Agreements involving patent license agreements dealing with the production or the creation of something such as a technology. Examples for license granting the right to use any of the following:

Agreements involve a license granting the right to use a software product. Examples include embedded source code, large scale software deals with seats to software, and when software is integrated into a workflow, plan, or product.
