Patent Assignments (Search App)

  • View the “Recorded and Execution date” chart which displays the trendline showing the number of patent assignments that were executed and a trendline indicating the number of assignments that were recorded in a given time frame.  The slider bar above the chart is adjustable to allow for a customized time range and the chart can be shown on an annual or monthly scale. The data supporting the chart is available by selecting the ellipses.
  • View the “Top 10 CPC Codes” analytics chart, which displays the top ten patent codes associated with the searched keyword. The chart can be modified to show only applications, only granted patents or both. The data supporting the chart is available by selecting the ellipses.
  • The patent assignments associated with the keyword are listed below the charts, with listed information including:
    • the entities involved in the assignment
    • the execution date
    • the recorded date
    • the date the record was last updated
    • The assignors
    • The assignees
    • The assignment type
    • The conveyance
    • Correspondents
    • Top Level CPC Codes
    • The Title of the assignment is hyperlinked to the profile of that assignment, which includes further hyperlinks to the respective USPTO assignment record and USPTO documentation record.  Listed information includes:
      • The assignors
      • The assignees
      • Correspondents
      • the recorded date
      • the execution date
      • The conveyance
      • The assets involved in the assignment
  • Each asset is hyperlinked to its respective patent profile (see patents for description)
  • The “Clear Filters” button resets any selected filters
  • “Group by” offers several ways that the patent assignment list can be grouped including:
    • Assignees
    • Assignors
    • Correspondent
    • Inbound countries
    • Inventors
    • Outbound countries
    • Top level CPC
  • “Sort by” offers different ways by which the patent assignment list can be ordered:
    • Execution date ascending
    • Execution date descending
    • Recorded date ascending
    • Recorded date descending
    • Last update ascending
    • Last update descending
  • There are several filters on the left hand side that enable the narrowing of the search results:
    • Type (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Recorded date (slider or date entry box)
    • Execution date (slider or date entry box)
    • Patent count (slider or entry box)
    • Assignors (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Assignees (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Inventors (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Correspondent (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Top level CPC classification (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Inbound countries (lookup box and checkbox)
    • Outbound countries (lookup box and checkbox)
