  • View the “Royalty Rates Over Time” analytics chart, which provides summary timeline of collected royalty rates by basis.  The data can be displayed as bubble chart or a line chart.  The profile of the data are accessed by holding the pointer over the bubble.
  • View the “Territories” analytics map, which displays the countries in which the resulting agreements are applicable to. The data supporting the chart is available by selecting the ellipses.
  • View the “SIC” chart, which displays the top Standard Industrial Classification codes (SIC) of the resulting agreements. The data supporting the chart is available by selecting the ellipses.
  • The “Royalty Rate Summary” chart and table provides an overview of the associated royalty rates listed by quartile and by basis.
  • The agreements associated with the keyword are listed below the charts, tables and maps.
    • The Agreement Summary is accessed by clicking on the agreement name, and shows the agreement profile, a link to the full text, and analytics on any patents
      • The Profile contains information such as:
        • The Agreement Type
        • Industry
        • Territory
        • Licensors
        • Licensees
        • Grants
        • Terms
        • and other related information

      • The “View Full Text” hyperlink displays the full text of the agreement. The text is parsed and can be word-searched.

      • The “Patents” hyperlink contains analytics on the patents referenced in the agreement, including the representative territories of the patents and a summary of the Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC) codes into which the patents fall.

  • The “Clear Filters” button resets any selected filters

  • “Group by” offers several ways that the agreements can be grouped:

    • Filing Company
    • Industries
    • LIcensees
    • Licensors
    • SIC Codes
    • Territories
    • Top Level CPC codes
  • “Sort by” offers different ways by which the agreement list can be ordered:
    • Filing date Ascending
    • Filing date descending
    • Filing company ascending
    • Filing company descending
  • There are several filters on the left hand side that enable the narrowing of the search results
    • Checkboxes for those agreements containing Fix Payments or Royalties or Patents.
    • Filing Date (slider or date entry box)
    • Effective Date (slider or date entry box)
    • SIC Codes (lookup box and check box)
    • Industries (lookup box and check box)
    • Licensors (lookup box and check box)
    • LIcensees (lookup box and check box)
    • Territories (lookup box and check box)
    • Filing Company (lookup box and check box)
    • Top Level CPC Code (lookup box and checkbox)
