- View the “News Article Count” chart which displays the trendline showing the number of news articles related to the keyword search term. The slider bar above the chart is adjustable to allow for a customized time range and the chart can be shown on an annual or monthly scale. The data supporting the chart is available by selecting the ellipses.
- The results associated with the keyword are listed below the charts, with information including:
- The title of the article
- The source
- The date of publication
- Icons indicating why the article was listed
- The Title of the article is hyperlinked to the original source of the content.
- The “Clear Filters” button resets any selected filters
- “Group by” groups the list by the companies associated with the article.
- “Sort by” offers different ways by which the patent assignment list can be ordered:
- Published date ascending
- Published date descending
- Source ascending
- Source descending
- There are several filters on the left hand side that enable the narrowing of the search results:
- Contains Patents and Payments (lookup box and checkbox)
- Published date (slider or date entry box)
- Type (lookup box and checkbox)
- Companies (lookup box and checkbox)
