The following provides a brief overview of how to begin using the Commercialization App.

Search

1. Begin your search by: a. typing a keyword into the text box or; b. adding a classification number.
2. Press enter to run your keyword search. Press Reset to start over.
3. Optional: Update your results by adding a date, unchecking or adding additional keywords. Click away from the text box to update the results.

Review Results

• Market Participants: View the IP Profile of any Market Participant by clicking on the name of the company.
• Royalty Rates: Update the Royalty Rates graph by choosing a Common Base, or view the license agreements by clicking on the Common Base.
• License Agreements: View the License Agreement Profile for any License Agreement by clicking on the ID or the IP Profile by clicking on the name of the company. Agreements with a blue R have available royalty rate information.
• Licensed Patents: View the Patent Profile for any Licensed Patent by clicking on the App #.
